Transporters establish solute gradients across biological membranes and are one of the most promising class of therapeutic targets. The Stamou Lab pioneered single transporter activity measurements (Science 351, 1469–1473 (2016); Nature 611, 827–834 (2022)). Join us in these cutting-edge projects as a research assistant to work on single molecule biophysics and pharmacology of primary and secondary active transporters. You will be based in the Stamou Lab and collaborate with the Nissen Lab at the University of Aarhus and Lundbeck A/S.

Job description The duties will include research within single molecule biophysics and pharmacology of primary and secondary active transporters, biochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, computational image analysis and statistical data analysis.
Terms of employment The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
