Gain exposure to innovative technologies while supporting a skilled and agile team. Inspire and guide us with your insights from academia.

Your assistance is needed to facilitate and coordinate the Integration team's activities, and to support our department leader and team heads with a variety of tasks.

You will join a large, professional IT organization with more than 400 IT specialists and generalists.

Start your career with IT Integrations IT Integrations is a shared services team. We are 14 skilled colleagues and about an equivalent number of external IT consultants working both in-house and offshore.

We develop and maintain IT solutions that are essential for our customers, colleagues on the train, and DSB administration. Our focus is on IT integration — ensuring that different systems can seamlessly communicate and exchange data to support efficient and reliable operations.

To provide this, we supply development teams with integration platforms such as SAP IS, Solace (event broker), KONG (API gateway), Azure Data Factory, EventHub, and Event Grid.

“As a student assistant at DSB, I have the freedom to plan my tasks in a way that fits perfectly with my studies, which makes balancing everything so much easier.

On top of that, it's rewarding to know that what I do makes a difference. I help make my colleagues' work easier, and it feels good contributing to something bigger. Having responsibility and flexibility, while feeling my work is appreciated, makes it enjoyable coming into work”.

Says Jacob, our student worker in coding.

Your everyday life @ DSB We imagine you will be working approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your exam periods and academic commitments.

You can get a free DSB train pass for work and personal use.

Our office is based on Telegade, close to Høje Taastrup station, making it easy to commute.

What will you be doing? You will collaborate with IT developers, testers, and architects from the team, internal customers from our business and train operations units, and external IT suppliers.

Your tasks may include

  • Administrative tasks such as onboarding new consultants, assisting with procurement processes, monitoring the internal budget, and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Maintaining documentation in Jira (project tracking software) and Confluence (team workspace).
  • Conducting analyses and supporting various assessments as needed, by engaging with relevant stakeholders and contributing to team projects.
  • Performing data analysis and creating dashboards in Power BI and Excel.
Who are you? You are well into your bachelor’s degree or have recently started your master’s, perhaps in a program that combines Business Administration and IT. Alternatively, you study Business Administration or Management and have a good understanding of IT.

You are curious about software development tools and processes and want to learn and grow in this role.

We are looking for a person who takes initiative and asks questions about new perspectives and solutions.

You are ready to collaborate and participate in interdisciplinary contexts, as you will be talking to our internal customers and colleagues.
