WE ARE HIRING AN EXPERIENCED CHEF!
Bharat Restaurant, a cozy and atmospheric restaurant specializing in authentic Indian cuisine, is currently looking for an experienced and skilled chef to join our kitchen team.
We are specifically seeking a chef with strong experience in Indian cooking, who can take responsibility for the kitchen operations and help maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes with consistency and high quality
• Arrive 2 hours before opening to prepare ingredients and set up the kitchen
• Ensure smooth kitchen operation during opening hours (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
• Work a total of 8 hours per day, including preparation and closing tasks
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Ensure that the kitchen complies with all Danish Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen) rules and regulations
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering
• Clean and organize the kitchen after each shift
Working Hours:
Full shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM,

We are looking for someone who:
• Has proven experience as a chef, especially in Indian cuisine
• Has excellent knowledge of Indian spices, dishes, and preparation techniques
• Is reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Can work under pressure and maintain high standards
• Understands and follows food safety and hygiene regulations
• Is comfortable taking responsibility for kitchen compliance and organization
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
