Lead the Development, Design and Construction of Advanced Customized Production Lines

As Technical Director, you will report directly to the CEO and lead the company’s technical department comprising 10 experienced engineers and designers. You will play a strategic role in the executive management team, overseeing all technical projects and driving the advancement of production line solutions. Your primary mission will be to ensure that Roll-o-Matic remains at the forefront of technological excellence and continues to meet the highest standards of quality and performance demanded by a global customer base.

• Lead and optimize technical project management processes and methodologies
• Drive the development and enhancement of current production line technologies
• Foster close collaboration across departments, especially with Sales and Customer Service
• Guide and advise a global customer base across diverse cultural and operational contexts
• Implement strategic initiatives in alignment with company goals, contributing to the evolution of Roll-o-Matic’s product portfolio
• Ensure effective documentation, process control, and integration of emerging technologies in machinery engineering

• Proven leadership experience in a project-oriented technical environment within the machinery or automation industry
• Solid background in electrical engineering, automation, or mechanical systems
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset
• Decisive, structured, and highly collaborative leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation engineering. Throughout your career, you have practical experience in development projects within an industrial setting, and you are proficient in SolidWorks or Inventor with familiarity in Microsoft Project as an advantage.

You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.You are based within commuting distance of Roll-o-Matics´s headquarters west of Odense ( near the E20 motorway) and you have the willingness to travel approximately 30 days per year.
