Student Assistant Positions in Medical Robotics – BronchoBot Project

The Medical Robotics Group is looking for 1 motivated student assistant to join our team and contribute to the BronchoBot project.

Flexible bronchoscopy is a key medical procedure used for diagnosing and treating lung diseases. While virtual simulators are commonly used to train doctors, these environments often lack realism. Our goal is to enhance the realism of bronchoscopy simulators using Generative AI, thereby improving and accelerating the learning process for medical professionals.

 

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Implementing image-to-image translation for video bronchoscopy;

  • Supporting data collection and processing;

  • Integrating the developed solution into a medical simulation platform.

 

We expect that you:

  • Are solution-oriented and proactive;

  • Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-up;

  • Can communicate effectively in English;

  • Have a positive and collaborative approach to teamwork;

  • Have a background or strong interest in robotic control and deep learning.

Experience working with medical imaging, namely bronchoscopy videos, is considered an advantage. 

The job would last until the end of June 2026.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and PROSA.
