The Centre for Industrial Electronics (CIE), Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (DME), and part of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark, offers a part-time position, 14 hours per week as a Student Assistant.
Period of employment: 1 October 2025 - 30 June 2026
Location: Sønderborg
The job involves the following tasks:
- Simulation of power electronics systems, including circuit simulations using LTSPICE and electromagnetic simulations using Ansys Electronics
- Helping with design and build of power electronics converters
- Testing the converters and conduction measurements in the lab
Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.
The applicant must be a MSc student of electronics. in addition, he or she should have experience with simulation, design and building power electronics converters, especially GaN based converters.
Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU, the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.
