The position

As Project Manager within our Service function, you will play a key role in overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing client and stakeholder relationships, mitigating risks, and driving efficient execution through effective contract management. You will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to secure project success.

Tasks

  • Oversee and manage the entire project process within the Service function.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Participate in reviewing and finalizing contracts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Support negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to minimize risks and secure project budgets.
  • Oversee execution and administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor contract performance and address any discrepancies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project and contract status.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

 

Qualifications

We foresee that the ideal candidate is passionate about project management, takes initiative, and can work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Professional

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in marine, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the energy industry or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within engineering and/or construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance related to contracts.
  • The position requires flexibility to travel occasionally when needed.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
