We are seeking a 3-year postdoc to work primarily on the project ‘Feedback loops in policy and decision-making uncertainty for climate adaptation’ financed by the Independent Research Fund Denmark. The project addresses the topic of how policy uncertainty affects voluntary policy instrument participation for climate adaptation in forestry. It will be investigated through a mixed method approach applying econometric time series analysis, focus group discussions, and a choice experiment. Hence, we seek a candidate having expertise with some of these methods, and interest and capacity to learn the others. It is an advantage to have experience with the topics of voluntary incentives, climate adaptation, or uncertainty and decision-making.
The project involves fieldwork in two countries to allow for comparisons across policy contexts.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within the field of climate adaptation as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.
