We are looking for an inspiring and proactive leader as Operations Manager for NorSea in the NorSPIE consortium.

NorSPIE is a consortium between SPIE Energy Danmark and NorSea Denmark who work closely together on the General Maintenance Contract (GMC) for our client’s production platforms in the Danish offshore sector. The team consists of competent Danish and Expat colleagues who plan and coordinate maintenance activities offshore in collaboration with the offshore-based teams.

Job responsibilities:
-    Operations Manager for the GMC offshore & onshore organisation
-    Deputy Contract Manager for the GMC Contract in close cooperation with consortium partners SPIE Energy Danmark
-    Stakeholder management internally and externally
-    NorSea’s leading operational representative in the NorSPIE consortium and GMC Contract
-    HSE accountable for all NorSPIE personnel – safety and wellbeing is paramount at all times
-    P/L responsible for operations involving over +200 personnel
-    Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationship with client
-    Stakeholder in the technical operation of the maintenance contract
-    Continual focus on contractual and internal KPI’s
-    Leader of both on- & offshore managers, supervisors and personnel
-    Manager of NorSPIE onshore workshop
-    Active participant in the Health & Safety Organisation
-    Active participant in union negotiations
-    Responsible developing strategies within the GMC
-    Other responsibilities can include new contract negotiations and contract extensions

Who are you:
-    Min. 5 years’ experience from similar positions within large on- and/or offshore commissioning and/or maintenance projects/contracts 
-    Technical insight giving ability to suggest alternative solutions or challenge proposals
-    Knowledge of and experience within the Oil & Gas industry and North Sea operations
-    Project management experience, with holistic management skills
-    Relevant leadership experience (smaller teams and/or with matrix organizations)
-    Can navigate and lead in a matrix organization where you may be Operational Manager, but may not be Line Manager
-    Relationship builder, internally and externally
-    Good commercial insight and financial understanding with ability to analyse and evaluate budgets and financial reports
-    People skills within management and the ability to influence decision-makers
-    Demonstrates a clear understanding that customer experience is vital, and that high service levels are essential to ensuring a positive and lasting customer impression
