Stellar Music is looking for a creative manager for Artist Development & Branding. The person will be responsible for shaping the artistic direction, brand identity, and overall creative strategy for the management's roster of artists. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in music, visual storytelling, brand positioning, and artist development. The ideal candidate will work closely with artists, management teams, marketing, and A&R to build compelling narratives and brand aesthetics that elevate careers and engage audiences globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Branding:
  • Develop and execute innovative creative strategies to define and enhance artist branding.
  • Oversee the visual and aesthetic direction of all artists, ensuring consistency across album artwork, music videos, photography, social media, and promotional assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and A&R teams to create cohesive storytelling for artist campaigns.
  • Lead the development of unique brand identities and creative concepts that distinguish artists in the marketplace.
Artist Development:
  • Guide artists in defining their artistic vision, helping to shape their image, messaging, and overall brand presence.
  • Work with artists and their teams to develop signature styles, stage presence, and public personas.
  • Partner with vocal coaches, stylists, producers, and other key creative professionals to support artist growth.
  • Provide mentorship and creative direction to emerging talent.
Visual & Content Direction:
  • Oversee the production of music videos, photoshoots, and creative content, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Work closely with designers, directors, and content creators to execute high-quality visual assets.
  • Stay ahead of visual and digital trends to keep branding fresh and innovative.
  • Develop creative content strategies for social media, leveraging platforms for storytelling and audience engagement.
Marketing & Campaign Integration:
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to align creative vision with promotional strategies.
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all platforms, including digital, print, and experiential marketing.
  • Identify and develop brand partnership opportunities that enhance artist exposure and credibility.
Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead and manage the creative team, including designers, art directors, and content creators.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the department.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for creative projects, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Build relationships with external creative agencies, photographers, videographers, and other industry professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in a creative leadership role within the music, entertainment, or fashion industry.
  • Strong background in artist branding, creative direction, and content strategy.
  • Proven experience working with artists, music labels, or entertainment brands.
  • Deep understanding of digital content trends, audience engagement, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to lead and inspire creative teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong network of industry professionals, including designers, photographers, stylists, and video directors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for music and a deep appreciation for diverse artistic expressions.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media strategy, and content creation.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in fashion, culture, and visual arts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining creativity and attention to detail.
