About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team for a major hospital construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a meaningful development that will positively impact the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordination, and supervision of construction activities on site
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project milestones are met
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior engineers and project managers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Contribute to problem-solving and technical decision-making on-site

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is highly desired.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in construction engineering
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Good command of English – both written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment

About Køge Hospital Project Team I/S (KHPT):
KHPT is a joint venture between Itinera and CMB, two Italian companies with experience in building hospitals.

The Køge Hospital Project is an expansion of the already existing University Hospital in Køge, which will include a complete renovation. When the renovation is complete, it will open to extended special departments, along with new departments for research, which will gather Zealand University Hospital under one single roof. When the work is finished the hospital will be 195.000 sq.m.
