About FLC:
At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
About the department:
The IT infrastructure team consists of three employees who are responsible for the establishment, maintenance and operation of FLC network and server infrastructure. The team is part of the IT department, a team of 13 skilled and enthusiastic colleagues who are responsible for running FLC IT with more than 1,000 users spread on several locations in two countries.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Establishment, operation and maintenance of our Unifi based network in Røby on Fehmarn and in Copenhagen.
Maintenance and monitoring of our Sophos firewalls and VPN based WAN.
Documentation.
Monitoring of infrastructure, networks and applications.
Configuration, troubleshooting and optimization at a technical and professional high level with the opportunity to spar with skilled colleagues.
On the technical side, our network consists of Sophos firewalls and Unifi/Ubiquity controllers, switches and access points.
Qualifications:
As our new network technician, you will play a central role in the administration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, especially our extensive network that spans our construction sites in Rødby and Fehmarn as well as our office in Copenhagen.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our network and connections run optimally. Therefore, we expect you to have a good understanding of network architecture and design, data flow, routing and to have the ability to troubleshoot in a larger, complex network.
You have experience with networks and network operations and are ready to take on a senior role, where you will, to a certain extent also act as a mentor for apprentices and less experienced employees in the team. The corporate language is English in which you must be proficient in speaking as well as writing.

Workplace:
You will be based in Rødby, but there will also be tasks on Fehmarn and in Copenhagen.
