HV Commissioning Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HV Commissioning Engineer for an exciting Baltic Sea Substation project in Poland.
You will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and leading the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage (HV) systems on-site, ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate HV installation, testing, and commissioning activities on-site.
Ensure that all work complies with safety procedures, project specifications, and quality standards.
Participate in daily planning and progress meetings; provide updates and technical input.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to schedule and quality requirements.
Participate in FAT/SAT activities and ensure proper documentation and handover.
Handle and close internal and client punch lists prior to project completion.
Coordinate with LV, MV, and control teams to ensure proper system integration.
Support the preparation and updating of as-built documentation and SemCompletion systems.
Contribute to risk assessments and propose technical or procedural improvements.
Qualifications
Technical background as an electrician, supervisor, or electrical engineer.
Proven experience with HV systems in industrial, energy, or offshore projects.
Strong understanding of safety, quality control, and documentation processes.
Experience with testing and commissioning of HV equipment (transformers, switchgear, cables, etc.).
Familiarity with SemCompletion or similar documentation tools is an advantage.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written and EU passport.
Proactive, structured, and a strong team player in an international environment.
GWO, HUET/BOSIT, and Offshore Medical Certificate are considered advantages.
