We are looking for an engaged Startup Coach and Funding Programme Manager to join our small ambitious team.
The Position
Are you passionate about helping new technology startups? Do you want to work with startup grants and fundraising? Then this might be the right job for you.
Our experience at DTU Skylab shows that entrepreneurship is an effective tool for competency building and personal growth. We believe that students and researchers hold the key to generating innovative solutions for a better, more sustainable tomorrow. Every day, we passionately work to support and motivate teams to embark on their own startup journeys through guidance, coaching, workshops, and providing a shoulder to lean on during tough times.
We are looking for a maternity cover (12 months) to engage with our DTU student startup projects and support them in their startup journey through our grants program, DTU Skylab Funding. Twice a year DTU Skylab hands out grants to promising young student startups, and we need a maternity cover to run and continuously develop the programme.
You will be part of the team of startup coaches who run DTU Skylab’s startup programme. As part of the role, you are also expected to coach several of the teams enrolled in the programme on general commercial startup skills e.g. through running workshops and 1:1 coaching. Hence, we are looking for someone with not just grant experience but also experience from startups or the startup ecosystem.
Lastly, there is also an opportunity within this role to engage in/take lead on our diversity and inclusion work at Skylab. Skylab is currently running several initiatives to engage a more diverse group of users and is investigating internal processes and collecting data/insight to start preparing for new initiatives.
