Your position

We are looking for a Director of HR Operations to join our People & Culture leadership team. Reporting directly to the CPO, you will play a central role in strengthening our HR operations while also leading core global people processes and systems. 

In this strategic role, your work will ensure that HR operations run smoothly and support our continued business growth and transformation. Your primary workplace will be at HQ in Esbjerg.

Your task and responsibilities

As a Director in HR you will have a split role between overseen DK HR (HR operations: HR service desk, oversee payroll, Onboarding) and Global HR (HR systems and master data, strategic HR projects and People processes) and support further building out a strong foundation for our People & Culture agenda in an international growth company.  

Your tasks will include but are not limited to: 

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the HR team, ensuring effective execution of HR functions and alignment across the broader People & Culture community fostering a culture of equity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. 
  • Employee Relations, Payroll & Compliance: Provide strategic guidance on workplace issues, conflict resolution, payroll and leave administration, and policy interpretation. Ensure compliance with company policies. 
  • HR Operations, Systems & Process Improvement: Lead HR initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline policies, and improve employee experiences. Oversee HR systems. 

Your profile and qualifications 

As a person you are team- and process oriented and strive for delivering continuous improvements with high-quality results. You are curious by nature and change management is something you live by every day. In addition, you enjoy a structured and detail-oriented approach, while keeping an overview in a fast-paced environment. 

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

  • Master’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in HR or operations within a complex organization. 
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, industry-standard and HR best practices. 
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic skills. 
  • Experience leading HR teams and implementing process improvements. 
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, customer-focused HR environment. 
  • Experience in operating in an engineering and project organization with various types of employment (onshore/offshore).  
  • Proven ability to drive HR initiatives that balance compliance, efficiency, and employee engagement. 
  • Communicate fluently in English and Danish, both verbally and in writing.
