Administration, community building and outreach
DTU’s Centre for Absolute Sustainability is looking for an outgoing and organised Centre Coordinator, to take the lead on administering the Centre, building our internal community, and spearheading our external outreach activities.
The job
We are seeking a new colleague with organisational competencies, to help us to administer the Centre, plus a flair communication and teamwork, to take the lead role in our internal and external community building and outreach activities.
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
Internal coordination and community-building activities, including monthly Centre meetings for internal Centre staff and affiliated colleagues and annual seminars for Academic Forum
Planning and execution of the Centre’s outreach activities, including lunch seminars (ca. 10 per year), industry workshops (ca. 5 per year) and annual conference (ca. 200 delegates)
Coordination of accounting and reporting of research projects and other related projects at the Centre
Our expectations of you
You have experience in coordinating projects and people, both with respect to practical organisational issues, and with respect to motivating and developing the team members.
You have qualifications and/or experience within the field of sustainability, with an academic degree or similar qualifications, in order to be able to communicate with external colleagues and to host & facilitate the Centre’s outreach events and activities.
You enjoy working in a dynamic and fast developing environment and are able to prioritise and manage many tasks of different shapes, sizes and importance.
You thrive amongst subject experts and enjoy helping preparing them to communicate their expertise to others.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 3 years. Starting date as soon as possible.
