Assistant Store Manager - 

New Salomon Store in Copenhagen

Are you passionate about sports and fashion? Do you have experience from retail management? Then come join Salomon - we are assisting Salomon in recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for their new Salomon store to be opened end March in Kristen Bernikows Gade, Copenhagen.

Purpose of the role:

As the Assitant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in building and leading a high performing store team, to ensure that the team achieve set goals and financial targets whilst delivering operational excellence and execute brand standards effectively. You will act as training ambassador for the store team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership

Motivate and inspire the team and manage people, operations, and the store environment to achieve all set out goals and operational standards

  • Customer Service

Be a role model instilling the importance of customer service to the team and follow up through training and being present and visible on the shop floor, interacting with customers and team members

  • Operations

Assist the Store Manager to meet or exceed budgeted store contribution and monitor a loss prevention program

  • Training

Assist the new hire onboarding process, ensuring education on products and selling tools. Support staff development by training and coaching the in-store team, ensuring they achieve sales goals and meet brand standards

  • Marketing/Events

Develop, execute and folllow-up on store events alongside the Store Manager and Marketing team with the goal to drive traffic and increase community involvement

Qualifications:

  • You are a dynamic and motivated professional with a genuine passion for the sports industry, outdoor activities, and fashion.

  • You know how to inspire and guide a team while ensuring high operational standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • You are able to lead, motivate and support a team, and come with good retail management experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent multitasking, planning, and organizational abilities

  • You are proactive, results-oriented, and thrive in a customer-focused environment, where you can actively contribute to the brand’s success and deliver best-in-class retail experiences
