Reporting directly to the Head of our International Sourcing Division, with a dotted line to our Head of Business Development, this role will be based in Denmark and will involve a blend of operational and business development responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients to generate increased orders within Denmark.
  • Work closely with our Recruitment teams in Ireland and Poland to ensure they are fully updated on new orders and to provide timely, accurate updates to clients to deliver an excellent service.
  • Support and liaise with our site workforce in Denmark regarding all logistical matters, including accommodation, Danish payroll setup, site hours, travel to site, inductions, and general on-site coordination.
  • Conduct regular site visits to existing clients and potential new clients, followed by CRM activity to strengthen relationships and grow order volumes.
  • Manage all administration duties related to sales and operations, including order processing, pricing and margin matters, weekly reporting (site visits, CRM calls, orders processed), communication with site workers, and issue resolution.
  • Help build the Ward Personnel brand in Denmark through business development activity, excellent service delivery, networking, and collaboration with our Digital Marketing team.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure Ward Personnel is their recruiter of choice for construction labour in Denmark.

The Successful Candidate Will:
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in operations and business development/sales – ideally within recruitment and/or the construction sector.
  • Be a Polish speaker, as the majority of our site workforce will have been recruited through our Polish office. Good English is essential as client communication is primarily in English. Danish or other languages are a bonus but not required.
  • Be a dynamic, outgoing individual with excellent people skills.
  • Hold a degree (preferred but not essential).
  • Have any construction industry experience (a bonus but not essential).
  • Be IT-proficient with strong attention to detail.
  • Be results-focused and a strong team player.
  • Hold a valid driving licence.
