Thorsbjerggaard is a Danish farm specializing in the production of sweet corn and edible pumpkins. Our products are supplied to most major Danish supermarkets and specialty stores.
In addition, we grow peas, squash, and watermelons.
All stages of production – growing, harvesting, and packing – are carried out on-site.
Working Period
Beginning of June – end of October
It is important that you stay until the end of the season, we do not offer employment for periods shorter than 12 weeks.
Job Description
Seasonal farm work primarily involves harvesting and handling vegetables, mainly fruit and vegetable picking and packing, and general field work related to production.
Working Hours
Work typically starts at 7:00 a.m. and continues until approximately 16:00 noon.
During busy periods, additional work in the afternoon may be required.
Working hours may vary depending on weather conditions and workload.
Part-time work may occur.
You will have at least one day off per week.
Language Requirement
You must be able to speak and understand English.
Wages
- Paid according to Danish minimum wage, ensuring your effort is compensated
- Registered with Danish tax authorities (SKAT)
- Salary is paid to a bank account with a pay slip
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years
- EU citizenship (valid passport or ID required)
- Good physical condition, motivated for work and have a positive attitude
- Farm or harvest experience is an advantage
- Criminal record certificate from your home country

Accommodation
We offer accommodation at houses located approx. 3-10 km from the farm,
where you can rent a room.
Each house accommodates from 5 to 13 people
Beds with mattresses, bed linen, duvet and a pillow are provided
Each house has access to toilets, showers, laundry facilities, shared cooking facilities
(self-catering), and internet access
The cost of accommodation is DKK 70 per person per day; the price is all-inclusive.
Hygiene Rules
Hygiene regulations must be strictly followed.
You will receive detailed instructions before work begins.

Please remember to bring:
- Warm clothing
- Practical work clothes
You must arrange and pay your own transport to Denmark
Bringing your own car is an advantage
