Team Lead- Human Health and Team Lead - One Health
  • ICARS
  • Ørestads Boulevard 5, 2300 København S
ICARS supports the development and implementation of cost-effective and context-specific solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). ICARS works with national, regional and international partners to champion a participatory, cross-disciplinary research approach.

To reflect the growth of ICARS and the expanding project portfolio in the Science Department, we are strengthening the leadership by hiring 2 Team Leads – one to lead the One Health Team and one to lead the Human Health Team - to roll out the strategies, manage daily operations and lead a team of engaged and highly skilled professionals.

Both teams are responsible for the initiation, co-development, implementation and scale-up of projects and activities across sectors with the Human Health team focusing primarily on human health related activities and the One Health team on agrifood, animal and environmental health related activities.

About ICARS

The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) was established by the Danish government in 2019 with a mission to support the development of evidence-based solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in LMICs across the human, animal, agrifood and environment sectors, taking a One Health approach. ICARS was initially part of the Danish Ministry of Health but became an independent self-governing institution in November 2021.

While the LMICs are responsible for implementing the solutions, ICARS supports the initiatives through scientific, technical advice as well as proven intervention methods to ensure sustainable, scalable AMR mitigating solutions across the One Health sectors in the project country.

You will be part of a growing organization that is composed of enthusiastic, international experts that believe in ICARS’ mission and are highly motivated to ensure its success. These leadership positions are a unique opportunity to join our mission.
