ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Team Leader to join our team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will oversee team located in Copenhagen, Barcelona and Izmir, ensuring smooth daily operations and professional growth. You will play a key part in aligning the team’s work with company strategy, setting KPIs, and fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Team Leader, you will combine people leadership with hands-on operational tasks. You will work closely with other functions and countries to ensure smooth collaboration, effective processes, and continuous performance. As a natural part of your role, you will be a strong role model for NoriDane’s We-Culture. Your main responsibilities include:
Leading, motivating, and developing a talented team across three offices in Turkey, Denmark, and Spain, including 1:1s, career planning, and development talks
Fostering collaboration within the team and across functions, promoting a commercial mindset and strong team culture
Overseeing day-to-day shipping operations within your market areas
Monitoring KPIs, Claims and Issues, and process improvements to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
Negotiating with forwarders/shipping lines and securing agreements that align with Noridane standards
Handling shipping documents to ensure compliance with destination rules and overseeing the process from loading to container release
Managing prepayments and balance payments while ensuring smooth coordination with purchasers and service coordinators
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a structured and proactive team leader with a strong background in shipping and logistics. To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Experience in team leadership, preferably across different locations or cultures
Solid knowledge of shipping operations, documentation, and international logistics
A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and people skills, with a coaching leadership style
Ability to set KPIs and drive performance improvements
Commercial understanding and focus on efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Fluency in English (written and spoken) – other languages are an advantage
