The Scheibye-Knudsen lab is looking to hire a student employee, starting from the 1st of December 2025 or after agreement, to assist with practical and administrative tasks such as tasks involved in the aging research and drug discovery conference (www.agingpharma.org).

About the Scheibye-Knudsen lab
The goal of the lab is to develop interventions leading to longer and healthier lives. We are a group of around 12-15 people with different backgrounds and expertise. The lab utilizes computational science such as artificial intelligence and high-throughput approaches to understand the molecular basis of aging and develop interventions for healthy aging in humans and animal models. Lab generated data is routinely analyzed through AI-assisted pipelines such as novel cellular senescence classifiers and fully automated animal and human tracking.

Your personal competencies

  • You are outgoing and good with people.

  • You are proficient in English. Speaking and/or understanding Danish is an advantage.
  • You are flexible and interested in taking on different tasks.
Your tasks

  • Assist with reimbursements of participants at our conference.
  • Assist with maintenance of our website and social media.
  • Assist with practical tasks such as maintaining meeting calendars.
  • Assist with booking of rooms and catering for meetings.
  • Assist with other tasks such as booking of travel, sending out and organizing e-mails.
Terms of Employment
Employment conditions will be as a student in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees –governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) under HK/STAT.

The employment is for a fixed-term period for 2 years and the working hours will be 10 hours per week in average. The employment is conditioned on documentation for active enrollment as a student at a university or similar.
