Student Assistants for Social Entrepreneurship Education and Research Projects at the Department of Management, Society and Communication – Copenhagen Business School
The Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is seeking motivated student assistants to join our international team working with Professors Kai Hockerts and Anne-Karen Hüske on a range of projects related to social entrepreneurship education and research.
We are currently hiring for the following
three positions (please indicate clearly in your application which position(s) you are applying for):
1. Student Assistant – Statistical Analysis & Data ManagementFocus: Supporting a longitudinal research project on social entrepreneurship education.
Tasks include:- Collecting and cleaning survey and panel data
- Organising multi-year longitudinal datasets
- Supporting econometric modelling and statistical analysis
- Reviewing academic literature
Qualifications:- Experience with statistical tools (especially R)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Interest in social entrepreneurship
- Organised, punctual, and service-minded
2. Student Assistants – Social Entrepreneurship Education ProjectsFocus: Contributing to the Aurora university network and Seismic projects on social entrepreneurship education.
Tasks include:- Supporting educators and students with the Seismic APP and webpage
- Recruiting professors for the Seismic community (online research & outreach)
- Finding sponsors and assisting with the Seismic Awards
- Collaborating with Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship on creating a Seismic spin-out
Qualifications:- Proficient interpersonal and organisational skills
- Initiative-taking and collaborative
- Detail-oriented and motivated
- Interest in international collaboration and social entrepreneurship education
- Prior experience with LLMS and customised GPTs is an advantage
3. Student Assistant – Development of a Customized GPT MentorFocus: Supporting the development of a customised GPT-based mentor integrated into the Seismic APP to enhance reflective learning.
Tasks include:- Supporting CBS educators in developing, training, and testing the GPT mentor
- Assisting with integration into Seismic APP workflows
- Preparing and maintaining prompt templates and evaluation materials
- Drafting documentation and user guidelines
Qualifications:- Keen interest in AI/LLMs and education
- Experience with LLMs or custom GPTs (e.g., OpenAI)
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, APIs, and user testing (a plus)
- Interest in social entrepreneurship education
- Proficient communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)

Salary and terms of employment Employment takes place in accordance with the HK organisational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organisations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).
The salary currently ranges between DKK 141,14 and DKK 148,06 per hour and is dependent on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.
It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at
CBS.
