Reporting directly to the Executive Office, this internship provides a unique opportunity to support management on strategy and business development activities and offers valuable insights into the day-to-day management of an international business. You will work alongside senior leaders and help drive projects that influence our organisational direction and decision-making.

Through high-impact platforms such as the World Climate Summit (WCS) and the Climate Investment Coalition (CIC), WCF fosters cross-sector collaboration to scale solutions aligned with the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key Responsibilities
- Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the development, review, and refinement of strategic initiatives and goals.
- Presentation & Proposal Development: Assist in creating and refining executive-level presentations, business proposals, and briefings for stakeholders and partners.
- Board & Advisory Committee Support: Help identify, research, and coordinate outreach to potential board and advisory committee members; maintain updated rosters and documentation.
- Meeting Management: Support the planning and execution of strategic meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking detailed minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Draft communications and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate across departments to help manage the timeline, deliverables, and progress of strategic initiatives.
- Administrative & Operational Support: Provide ad hoc support for the Executive Office as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Management, or a related field
- Strong interest in strategic planning, business development, or organisational leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint
- Professional demeanour and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
- Experience with project management is a strong asset
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and propose solutions proactively
- Fluency in Danish and English
- Prior internship or project experience in strategy, consulting, business development, or executive support is a plus (but not required)

Location
- This internship is on-site at the World Climate Foundation’s headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- The office is located near the waterfront and just a short walk from the colorful Nyhavn.
- Interns will work closely with team members in a friendly office environment and may have opportunities to participate in relevant meetings and activities held in Copenhagen
Duration and Time Commitment
The internship is offered for a period of 6 months, starting in August or September 2025. It is a full-time position.
