Semco Maritime is proud to be part of the consortium Danske Flådeskibe K/S – a Danish naval vessels consortium responsible for designing, building, and servicing the next generation of Arctic patrol vessels and frigates. With this strategic commitment, Semco Maritime strengthens its position as a key supplier to the Royal Danish Navy and reinforces Denmark’s maritime industrial base. 

 
As our new Strategic Buyer, you will play a central role in driving procurement excellence across these complex, high-profile defence and energy-related projects. You will help shape sourcing strategies, develop strong supplier partnerships, and deliver commercial impact in a dynamic and growing organization. Effective stakeholder management will require a considerable amount of travel.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll support the development and execution of supply chain initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting supply chain process improvements across the value chain (upstream and downstream)
• Assisting with procurement planning and strategy implementation
• Conducting supplier assessments and contributing to supplier qualification processes
• Supporting commercial negotiations and supplier relationship management
• Participating in cross-functional supply chain development and optimization initiatives
• Preparing analysis and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making

Your Profile & Qualifications

You are known for being proactive, dependable, and a collaborative team player. You work well in a dynamic environment and are comfortable balancing multiple priorities while keeping an eye on quality and details.

To succeed in this role, we imagine you:

• Have a few years of experience in supply chain or procurement—ideally within the maritime, offshore, or energy sectors
• Are confident working with stakeholders across different levels of the organization
• Possess a structured, analytical mindset with a flair for problem solving
• Have experience with procurement processes, supplier performance tracking, and contract support
• Communicate fluently in English and Danish, both verbally and in writing
