Role Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, executing, and optimizing Bixter’s social media strategy across multiple countries and languages. This role requires strong storytelling ability, cultural awareness, and deep understanding of how to engage audiences on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a global environment with young audiences (18–30) as well as business partners and government institutions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Bixter’s growth objectives.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to optimize communication for each target market.
• Create monthly social media plans and content calendars for all active platforms.
Content Creation
• Produce engaging, culturally adapted content (video, photo, graphics, captions) tailored to each platform.
• Manage and grow Bixter’s online communities (Facebook groups, Instagram followers, TikTok audience, etc.).
• Collaborate with trainees, partners, and employers to gather real stories, testimonials, and success cases.
• Work closely with Bixter Academy to promote educational programs and digital courses.
Campaigns & Advertising
• Create paid advertising campaigns to reach candidates in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
• Promote job openings, visa programs, and training opportunities across all social media channels.
• Track performance metrics and optimize campaigns for reach, engagement, and conversions.
Community Management
• Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries across all platforms in a timely and professional manner.
• Build trust and guide potential candidates through key steps—from interest to application submission.
• Monitor feedback and identify opportunities for improving communication and user experience.
Analytics & Reporting
• Use analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance and audience engagement.
• Provide insights and improvement recommendations.
• Adjust strategy based on data to increase channel effectiveness.
Internal Collaboration
• Coordinate with the recruitment team to promote priority vacancies.
• Support HR, Sales, and Partner Relations teams with relevant digital materials.
• Work with the design and video production team to maintain high-quality visual standards.

Qualifications
Required
• min 2 years of proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Excellent command of English (additional languages are a strong advantage: Spanish, German, Swedish, Danish)
• Strong skills in video editing, copywriting, and social media storytelling.
• Experience working with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of global youth culture and international mobility trends.
Preferred
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or similar design/video tools.
• Experience working with multicultural audiences across different regions.
• Background in higher education marketing or online learning promotion.
