Senior Hydraulic Engineer (Team Lead) – Heavy Industry Brake Systems

Your impact
- Lead end‑to‑end hydraulic design and development for next‑generation brake systems.
- Translate customer needs into robust technical solutions that meet global standards and deliver measurable performance.
- Strengthen knowledge sharing and standardization to improve quality, speed, and efficiency across projects.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for hydraulic systems—owning architecture, design calculations, and component selection.
- Prepare technical layouts, schematics, and proposals to support Sales and Marketing.
- Provide technical and commercial support (cost estimates, business cases) for bidding activities.
- Plan and execute system testing, inspection, and validation to ensure reliability and safety.
- Lead root‑cause analyses and support quality claims and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as technical liaison with customers and suppliers throughout project execution, including site visits.
- Drive development projects that advance our brake solutions and set new benchmarks.
- Capture, structure, and standardize technical knowledge to enhance processes and tools.
What you bring
- Experience: Solid background in hydraulic engineering within wind, oil & gas, mining, marine, or similar heavy industries (typically 10+ years; we welcome capable candidates with equivalent experience and growth potential).
- Skills: Strong theoretical foundation paired with practical, hands‑on problem solving.
- Tools & systems: Proficiency with MS Office; experience with ERP systems (we use AXAPTA, other platforms are welcome).
- Ways of working: Familiarity with stage‑gate project models; experience with Wrike or similar tools is an advantage.
- Mindset: Organized, proactive, and collaborative—able to work independently while enabling the team.
- Quality & safety: Experience in ISO‑certified environments and a safety‑first approach.
- Language & travel: Fluent in English (spoken and written); Danish is a plus. Willing to travel ~30 days per year.
