Are you ready to ensure that DSB's key contracts are managed with precision and transparency?

Imagine being the link that ensures structure, overview and progress in complex contract management tasks!

We are preparing for the introduction of the new EuroCity coach formations, which will begin operations in Denmark before the end of 2025. To ensure effective contract management for this new rolling stock, we are looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join our team in DSB Drift.

Do you want to be part of this important work? You will join the STARS team in Strategi & Tog Materiel where you will be part of the Commercial Contract Management department overseeing major investment programs for the acquisition of new rolling stock. At the same time, you will collaborate with the legal team in our matrix organization. We focus on managing complex contracts, improving processes, and ensuring smooth transition to operations for the new EuroCity formations.

Later, the contract management division part of the Eurocity program will join the asset, technical, and maintenance management team within DSB Drift. Finally, you will work closely together with the DSB procurement organization making sure that spart part deliveries from the supplier meet the contractual KPIs.

About the job As Senior Contract Manager for the Future EuroCity Trains, you will oversee the contract management for the remaining coach formations and the spare parts agreement. This includes ensuring milestone acceptance, managing contractual obligations, and representing DSB in monthly progress meetings, change committees, and commercial negotiations. You will also report to the management team on contract-related matters and provide strategic advice based on the contracts.

A typical working day Your day might start with a cross-functional meeting with technical teams, where you go over updates on contractual obligations, SLAs, and any change orders.

After lunch, you work methodically to update a contract according to new change requests, ensuring that the legal basis is in place.
In the afternoon, you'll attend a workshop with the asset management and maintenance team to ensure that the contract management tools are used effectively and in accordance with the processes.

Before the day ends, prepare a presentation to management about the status of key contracts and possible risks.

Your most important tasks are to

  • Monitor key contractual obligations and payments (renewals, SLAs, penalties).
  • Ensure that the contract is maintained and updated in accordance with change orders.
  • Ensure that the project team knows and works with Contract Management processes and tools
  • Act as the central point of contact for contract coordination across technical, maintenance and asset management teams.
Who are you? We are looking for someone who is good at creating and maintaining relationships across the organization and with external partners. You work methodically and have a natural ability to balance commercial, technical and legal considerations. In addition, you thrive in an everyday life with complex tasks, where you contribute with structure and overview.

We imagine that you have the following qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in law, engineering, finance, economics, or business sciences
  • Experience in contract management, procurement or requirements management
  • Are organized, detail-oriented and have good skills in coordination and communication across functions
  • Fluent in both Danish and English in writing and speech
  • Knowledge of contractual documents and contract methods, including the ability to read and interpret terms and conditions
