DTU is launching a new research and innovation center to strengthen competitiveness and accelerate technology implementation in freight transport and logistics. This initiative will consolidate education and research in Danish freight transport and position DTU as the leading transport university in the Nordic region.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join DTU Engineering Technology and play a pivotal role in building this center from the ground up. In this role, you will drive strategic projects and manage the center's daily operations, support researchers in securing external funding and developing ambitious research proposals, foster collaboration among academia, industry, and public authorities, and promote DTU’s education and research activities to strengthen visibility and impact.

Your Role as Senior Consultant
In the role your ideas and actions can truly make a difference. As Senior Consultant
, you will help shape DTU’s new Logistics Center—a hub for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions. Your work will span strategy, operations, and partnerships, ensuring the center becomes a driving force in Denmark’s logistics landscape.
You will:
Empower researchers by supporting funding applications—monitoring calls, clarifying requirements, and co-creating strong proposals.Champion communication and branding , making the center visible and impactful across sectors.Keep things moving by managing daily operations and sharing knowledge that matters.Stay ahead of the curve by tracking EU and global transport regulations and identifying emerging trends.Showcase results through reports and forecasts that highlight progress and opportunities.Build bridges between academia, industry, and authorities—creating a strong network of partners and collaborators.Create a meeting point for ideas , promoting DTU’s education, conferences, and seminars to inspire engagement and growth.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The position is full-time. Starting date is March 1st, 2026 (or according to mutual agreement).
