Gram Equipment A/S is looking for a Sales Manager to support the Group's Sales division in our growing Tier 2 segment for MENA & European markets.

The global population consumes more than 15 billion liters of ice cream per year. Everybody has their own personal flavor. You can find ice cream in all corners of the world, but have you ever thought about how it is made and what is the process behind it?

Job description:

You will be part of an exciting and fun growth journey in Gram Equipment A/S, and your role will have a significant impact on our sales goals for the region.

The role is an active participant in our strategy for the MENA & European market with a strong emphasis on tier 2 customers. We are looking for a candidate with a technical, commercial and a consultative customer approach. Your focus is on improving the relationship between Gram Equipment A/S and our existing and new customers.

In addition, we are searching for skills that can strengthen and add more value to continuous long-term relations with our existing customer base.

Some of your key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Sales budgets for the customers in the assigned area/accounts
  • Creating and maintaining customer relations and plans to consolidate, explore and expand our customer potential in the area
  • Identifying the area's customer, competitor, market, and business trends and communicating this back to the organization.
  • Positioning Gram Equipment as the preferred supplier at selected accounts in the area

Expected travel activity up to 120 days a year.

The role will ideally be based out of our Gram Equipment Turkey office in Izmir, however other options might also be possible.

Your background:

We are looking for a candidate with a technical and commercial understanding, documented results, and experience in selling complex technical solutions to international customers preferably within the food industry.

The position requires a positive, outgoing personality with the ability to create constructive and long-lasting relationships with customers. In addition, the candidate possesses solid communication skills and has cross-cultural experience in a business environment, as well as experience with cooperation in European companies with a group structure where everyone works both at an overall level and in detail. It will be an advantage if you as a person are self-propelling, structured and are able to provide customers immediate confidence.

You will be a great asset if you are able to undertake:

  • A consultative approach in dealing with our customers.
  • Collaboration with key internal and stakeholders with an emphasis on openness.
  • A clear and present navigation of different business cultures within your assigned area.
  • Communication at all levels in customer organizations.
  • English, French and/or Arabic is mandatory.
  • Should have technical and commercial understanding, documented results, and experience in selling complex technical solutions to international customers preferably within the food industry.
