Your future team – The Technical Department We are a larger team of 30+ people, the Technical department. We are primarily engineers, and we are working with rolling stock technical items, passenger experience, quality management systems and building quality, project management and maintenance.
We learn from each other, and we are happy to help each other. We like to have fun together. In addition to our monthly meetings, we have ongoing meeting to share knowledge.

Your future project We are working in projects, so in your day to day work you will be situated in a project team also with other professions such as change management, legal, commercial and administrative professions.

Our primary task is to deliver well-functioning trains and maintenance, contributing to a greener Denmark. In the project you contribute to ensure that the supplier complies with our safety requirements, which will lead to the rolling stock being authorized, by the relevant authority.

Your tasks You will work with implementation of the acquisition projects DSB are doing. You need to have experience as stipulated below on the areas of Safety and possibly quality management. We hope you will be experienced in your profession and can take over after a short introduction.

Your tasks will be to:

  • Follow up on supplier Homologation process
  • Participate in contact with the authorities
  • Verify supplier documents on the safety and homologation process
  • Follow up on supplier complying to DSB requirements, showing readiness to address conflicts.
  • Coordinating with DSB line organization and with other disciplines in the project
Who are you? We are looking for a professional with experience in the field of safety management. We imagine you being a knowledgeable person who can lead and convince others on your ideas, but also a person who are agile and adapt to the way of working in the project.
In the job it is essential that you can corporate with other professional disciplines, but also that you can be persuasive and consistent. Knowledge of the analysis and work-method used in safety Management is a prerequisite.

In addition to this, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • An academic background
  • Thorough understanding of the methods of Safety processes with 4-6 years of experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the Homologation process with 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge on way of working of the Danish authorities (Trafikstyrelsen)
  • Multi technical understanding
  • Experience working in complex projects

In addition to this, you possess

  • Knowledge about rolling stock is an advantage
