As a Research Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and report preparation while working on international projects such as Horizon projects funded by the European Union. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings
  • Assist in data collection, management, and analysis
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and research documentation
  • Support the coordination of experiments and research activities
  • Handle administrative tasks related to research projects
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure research quality and accuracy
  • Maintain ethical research standards and data integrity

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences
  • Experience with data collection and analysis methods
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in relevant research software (e.g., Stata, R, Python)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of an international team
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong willingness to assist in project management and administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of forest wildfire adaptation strategies is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage

Salary and terms of employment 
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. 

This is a part-time research position for 12 months (20 hours per week). The starting date is 1 July 2025 (or according to mutual agreement).
