Department of Food Science invites applicants for a 2-year research assistant in food structure research (part-time). The project is part of the research project “NNF Start Package for José Bonilla’ founded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

The position is open from 1 July 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Job description
We are looking for a part-time research assistant in the topic of food microstructure, 12 hours per week. The research activities will include performing advanced super-resolution microscopy, label-free chemical imaging, fluorescent lifetime imaging, and advanced image analysis. Previous or ongoing experience with writing and structuring of scientific articles is also a plus. Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
