Job Description – Remote Finance & Operations Coordinator
The Remote Finance & Operations Coordinator supports financial administration and operational reporting related to delivery operations. The position is fully remote and involves responsibility for bookkeeping, payroll preparation, and performance tracking.
The role includes coordination with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient processes and accurate reporting. In addition, the coordinator contributes to the development of sustainable operations through digitalisation of workflows and initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact.
The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining effective communication across teams.
Your key responsibilities:
Maintain bookkeeping in the e-conomic ERP system, including income, expenses, and operational finance transactions.
Prepare driver payroll calculations, including working hours, number of orders, bonuses, and platform incentives.
Support the preparation of bi-weekly and monthly profit and loss summaries.
Assist in maintaining annual financial reports and supporting documentation for external audit and review.
Monitor operational performance using MotionTools and prepare summary reports.
Analyse projection data and weather forecasts to support cost-effective boosters and operational performance.
Correspondence related to finance and operations via Slack and email.
Maintain structured digital records and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
Support improvements to reporting formats and standard operating procedures (SOPs) where required.
Your Profile:
Experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, or a similar finance-related role
Basic knowledge of payroll preparation and expense management
Understanding of operational reporting and performance tracking
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Experience with digital tools and cloud-based systems
Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Structured, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Interest in digitalisation and sustainable business practices
Proficient in written and spoken English
