QHSE Manager
Do you have experience in quality assurance in a mechanical or process engineering environment? Do you see yourself in a hands-on role being in charge of Quality Management and becoming part of a healthy international company with great potential for continued growth?
Our client, Flowvision A/S, is a French-owned (Danish-based company founded in 2006) project-based engineering company, specializing in the design and delivery of advanced emission reduction systems around the world. With many years of experience in emission control and combustion technology, the company’s DeNOx systems are groundbreaking in many different applications.
Position overview:As QHSE Manager at Flowvision A/S, you will lead the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental efforts across the entire value chain, from supplier qualification and in-process inspections, through internal QMS systems and compliance, to final delivery of both documentation and physical parts to our international customers.
This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and customer-facing quality documentation. You’ll need to work across levels, conducting inspections and tests one day, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance or ESG reporting the next. Your core responsibility is to ensure that both physical products and project documentation meet demanding customers and regulatory standards. While the role includes responsibility for internal systems and compliance, most of your time will be spent supporting customer projects, translating requirements into supplier quality measures, test and inspection plans, and hands-on quality execution throughout project delivery.
Flowvision designs DeNOx systems, procure components (valves, instruments, piping), and outsource manufacturing to qualified workshops around the world. The company delivers a mix of physical goods and large documentation packages, and this role is key to ensuring quality in both areas.
Your work ensures not only technical compliance, but also underpins customer trust, repeated business, and Flowvision’s license to operate in highly regulated industries.
Primary responsibilities and tasks include:Inbound Quality – Supplier Quality & Fabrication Oversight – E.g.
Internal QHSE – Compliance, Health & Safety, and ESG – E.g.
Outbound Quality – Testing, Documentation & Customer Interface – E.g.
Additionally, you participate in early project phases to define QA strategies and identify quality milestones. You support Project Managers and Engineers with quality planning, standards interpreta-tion and process improvement. You stay updated on regulatory changes, industry norms and ESG trends. Develop and maintain standardized internal QA templates and documentation tools. You will travel to suppliers and customer sites for inspections, FATs, audits and meetings.
The QHSE Manager reports to the COO, and while the role has no direct reports, you will take full ownership of the QHSE area at Flowvision — leading initiatives internally and representing the company externally as the responsible QHSE authority towards suppliers, partners, and customers.
About you:
Welding inspections, NDT, material traceability
ISO 9001 systems and quality documentation
Customer QA interaction and audits
You possess a structured and proactive mindset with a strong ability to operate professionally in a hands-on and dynamic project-based environment. You are a detail-oriented and quality-driven person with a positive attitude, who, based on your strong communication and interpersonal skills, engage constructively with all stakeholders in the projects. You are balancing hands-on tasks (e.g. inspections, FATs) with system-level compliance, documentation and ESG + regulatory demands. You are fluent in English (written and spoken) (Danish is a large plus) and you are willing to travel about 20-30 days per year. Your IT skills are strong, including fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and understanding of 2D/3D design specifications & drawings.
That´s what you get:Flowvision is a company with a flat structure, short decision-making paths, a strong focus on employee well-being, and a strong cohesion.
