About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, student-centred PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our diverse, internationally minded community on 15th December 2025. You will plan, teach, assess, and reflect within the IB Primary Years Programme, nurturing curiosity, wellbeing, and agency and creating a high-quality learning environment for our students while collaborating closely with colleagues and families.
Requirements for the Role:
Valid primary teaching qualification
Previous teaching experience in the IB Primary Years Programme within an IB school, across various disciplines
Excellent fluency in both written and spoken English
The Successful Candidate Will Also:
Create a safe, caring classroom climate that promotes student voice and choice.
Model an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning
Differentiate for multilingual learners and diverse needs; remove barriers to learning using inclusive/UDL practices.
Plan for assessment for/as/of learning, using evidence to inform next steps and communicate progress.
Foster student engagement and self-management through positive relationships and effective classroom routines.
Have knowledge and/or experience of, and a commitment to, the educational philosophies of the International Baccalaureate, specifically the Primary Years Programme
Design, deliver, and evaluate lessons that stimulate and motivate student learning
Work and plan in collaboration within curricular teams
Be caring and compassionate
Demonstrate strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
Partner with parents/guardians through clear, professional communication and collaboration
Enjoy teaching and working in an internationally-minded environment
Contribute to school events, duties, and the wider learning community.
Desirable
Experience supporting EAL/multilingual learners and inclusion.
Familiarity with Toddle or similar planning/reporting platforms.
Additional languages and international school experience.
