We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pseudo Pilot to support our aviation training simulations. In this role, you will coordinate with offshore stakeholders (PSP Pilots), provide IT support to students and instructors, set up and execute simulation exercises, and assist in the development of training scenarios in our simulator software. Your contributions will help ensure the highest level of realism and efficiency in pilot training operations. Key Responsibilities
- Coordination with Offshore Stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for PSP Pilots and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination of pilot assignments and simulation exercises.
- Assist in managing flight scenarios and operational needs to align with training objectives.
- IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide daily technical support to students and instructors regarding simulator functionality.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Liaise with IT and technical support teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Simulation Setup & Execution
- Configure and set up simulator exercises as per training requirements.
- Conduct pilot assignments during simulation runs, ensuring realistic operational conditions.
- Monitor simulator performance and adjust parameters for optimal training effectiveness.
- Exercise Development & Optimization
- Assist in creating and refining training exercises using simulator software.
- Ensure exercises meet aviation standards and reflect real-world flight scenarios.
- Collaborate with instructors to continuously improve simulation content and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Background in aviation, flight operations, or simulation training.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in IT troubleshooting and software support.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and trainees effectively.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with aviation simulation software and systems is an advantage.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting and scenario setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aviation training or flight simulation operations.
- Previous work in an aviation training center or simulator-based environment.
- Knowledge of air traffic control procedures and flight operations.
