The Role of Project Manager
As Project Manager at ITW Densit, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing industrial-scale projects – primarily in offshore and grouting-related applications. You will lead the entire project lifecycle, including technical input, team coordination, financial control, and client communication.
Reporting to the Business Manager Wind, you’ll play a key role in aligning operations, engineering and commercial efforts to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all project phases – from tendering and technical input to execution, delivery and final reporting
- Plan and execute projects valued between $100 and $ 13M +
- Lead teams of 2-8 supervisors/technicians across Europe
- Coordinate with the Equipment Manager to reserve, maintain and mobilize equipment for offshore projects
- Deliver detailed method statement briefings to supervisors before mobilization.
- Oversee project administration and financial performance, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control
- Coordinate across sales, logistics, and offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Identify and share suggestions for improvement with internal development and process teams
- Travel occasionally (approx. 2-3 days/month – max. 20 days/year), mostly in Europe and Asia.
- Carry out special assignments or cross-functional projects as assigned by management.
What We are looking for:
We’re seeking a structured, solution-oriented leader with strong project management mindset and excellent communication skills.
Ideally, you have:
- Experience: +5 years of project management experience (in offshore, marine or similar).
- Education: A Bachelor or master degree in engineering, but not a demand.
- Experience coordinating teams and managing all phases of a technical project.
- Fluency in Danish and English – German is a plus.
- Background in offshore, marine, steel is an advantage
- Knowledge of grouting is a plus, but not a requirement.
