Project Management Specialist - Private Label
  • Actona Group A/S
  • Smedegårdvej 6, 7500 Holstebro

Do you want to own and develop strong private label partnerships in an international, fast‑paced organization with ambitious growth plans? Actona Group is looking for a structured and commercially driven Project Management Specialist to act as the single point of contact for key private label customers and drive collaboration across departments.

The Role

As a Project Management Specialist, you hold end‑to‑end responsibility for your assigned private label customers and act as the owner of progress, structure and delivery of agreed tasks. You translate customer requirements into concrete internal actions and ensure that delivery, quality, and service perform at a high level, while continuously developing and growing the customer relationship.

You are expected to take an authoritative cross-functional role in driving projects forward, ensuring momentum, follow-up, and accountability across Product Development, Sales Support, Quality, and Logistics. You maintain a strong overview of each project, proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, and ensure that projects are brought safely and efficiently to completion.

You will act as project lead on customer development projects, securing progress, alignment, and documentation in our internal PPM system. The role requires close dialogue with both customers and internal stakeholders across cultures, as well as participation in customer meetings both online and on‑site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned private label customers, ensuring clear ownership, alignment of expectations, and disciplined execution across the organization.
  • Drive projects to completion by holding internal stakeholders accountable to agreed deadlines and deliverables.
  • Escalate, challenge, and resolve high‑priority issues related to supply chain, quality, and service performance.
  • Serve as project owner for customer development projects, including creation, follow‑up, prioritization, and timeline management in the PPM system.
  • Maintain a strong project overview, ensuring structure, transparency, and proactive risk management across all customer initiatives.
  • Drive the new development pipeline and secure future business opportunities with customers.
  • Coordinate customer planning cycles, product launches, promotions, forecasting, and customer meetings, with structured follow‑up related to S&OP and contractual agreements.
  • Track and report KPIs (delivery performance, lead time, quality, service, revenue, and margin) and drive customer‑centric process improvements.
  • Oversee claims handling, quality reviews, and CRM pipeline (Simply), and support the Sales Director in sales planning and performance tracking.
  • Participate in regular customer meetings, both virtual and on‑site (some travel activity is expected).

Your Profile

  • Experience within Project Management, Customer Success, or Key Account–related roles, preferably in private label, FMCG, or international B2B environments.
  • A robust and resilient profile with the ability to stand firm, set direction, and show natural authority without formal people management responsibility.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex workflows.
  • Solid commercial understanding and experience with forecasting, KPI management, and S&OP processes.
  • Professional and trustworthy communication skills in English and Danish (other languages are an advantage).
  • Highly structured, data‑driven, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment and able to balance firmness with collaboration.

We Offer

  • A key role with high impact in an international growth company.
  • A position with significant responsibility and autonomy, where you play a central role in driving execution and results.
  • Close collaboration with experienced colleagues across functions and geographies.
  • The opportunity to shape and develop long‑term customer partnerships with leading international customers.
  • An informal, performance‑driven culture with short decision‑making paths.
