We are looking for a Project Engineer with a background in steel or mechanical production - ideally a trained blacksmith who has continued into production technology, mechanical engineering, or similar. In this role, you will transform ideas into designs and drawings that can be executed in production - bridging theoretical and practical expertise to ensure constructability and compliance with standards.

What’s the Role About?

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, calculating, and preparing complete project documentation. From concept development to final detailed drawings, you will use your technical insight and practical experience to ensure that designs are realistic, safe, and buildable. You will collaborate closely with both project management and production teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• ✅ Design and develop steel and mechanical solutions from concept to detailed drawings.
• ✅ Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• ✅ Create 2D/3D drawings and models for fabrication and assembly.
• ✅ Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to ensure constructability.
• ✅ Apply knowledge of standards and directives to ensure compliance and safety.
• ✅ Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and material lists.

Who Are You?

You are both technically strong and practically minded - someone who understands how things are built, and can translate that into drawings and designs that work in practice. You thrive in combining calculation, design, and documentation with real-world production knowledge.

Your Skills & Experience:

• ☑️ Background as a blacksmith, production technologist, mechanical engineer, or similar.
• ☑️ Experience with design, drawing, and calculation of steel or piping projects.
• ☑️ Ability to create and review 2D/3D CAD models and drawings.
• ☑️ Solid understanding of Eurocode, Machinery Directive, EN 13155, EN 13480, EN 13445, EN 14122, PED, and related standards.
• ☑️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ☑️ Practical mindset with the ability to ensure designs can be built efficiently and safely.
• ☑️ Good collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
