At the Technical Faculty of IT and Design, Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, a Programmer/Software Engineer position is open for appointment from 1 December 2025 to 31 October 2026 a full time position.


The Department of Architecture, Design, and Media Technology has as its goal the development of an innovative cluster of engineering-based environments for education and research which integrate creativity, engineering and technology within the disciplines of architecture, urban design, industrial design, digital design and interactive media. The department is a leading research and educational environment in Denmark that addresses the challenge of the interplay between creativity and technology, and develops new areas in research and education directed towards the end-user.

About the position

We are looking for a Programmer/Software Engineer to help build an AI-powered conversational agent for clinicians. The role spans conversational AI, DevOps, and frontend development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain conversational agents with Rasa and LangChain
  • Enable multilingual/localized interactions for clinical users
  • Deploy and manage systems using Docker and automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Create clinician-facing interfaces with Next.js
  • Work with clinical teams to refine workflows and integrations

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Rasa and LangChain
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and DevOps practices (CI/CD)
  • Proficiency in Next.js or similar frontend frameworks
  • Familiarity with NLP localization and multilingual systems
  • Collaborative mindset and problem-solving skills

Salary and terms of employment
Employment and salary are in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Academic Staff Employed in the State Sector (in Danish). Qualification-based supplements may be granted, subject to negotiation. 

There is a 3-month mutual trial period.
