Would you like to join a team that supports the green energy transition by developing wind turbine response and validation methods and solutions? We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the development of wind-field reconstruction techniques for wind turbine response analysis and validation.
You will be joining a strong team that works within the following domains:
Your overall focus will be to develop and apply advanced methods for inflow reconstruction and reduced-order modelling, with direct application to aeroelastic simulations and lidar-assisted control of large wind turbines. You will collaborate closely with both academic and industrial partners in Denmark and abroad, ensuring that your research has impact in practice as well as in theory.
As an employee in the Turbine Response section, you are expected to be fluent in aeroelastic simulations, data science and analytics and have a solid knowledge of turbulence-turbine interactions, turbulence estimation, load validation and lidar-assisted control, with a focus on their real-time capabilities. You shall assume a leading role in the research activities leading to improved inflow modelling for load assessment and wind turbine control and ultimately achieve load reduction for wind turbine structures and main components.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
