  • Disseminate results through publications and stakeholder engagement

Your primary qualifications are:

  • As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering, AM, or related field
  • Experience with metrology of small to large scale laser-based metal AM components (e.g. DED, powder-bed fusion)
  • Experience in process and systems development related to laser-based metal AM
  • Familiarity with process sensors for laser-based AM methods
  • Familiarity with design for AM and post-processing techniques
  • Innovative and industry-focused mindset
  • Proven ability to work across disciplines and collaborate with industrial and academic partners
  • Strong motivation, independence, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience in disseminating research through scientific publications and conferences is considered an expectation

You will be assessed against the responsibilities and qualifications stated above and the following general criteria:

  • Research experience
