The Department of Psychology at the University of Southern Denmark (Campus Esbjerg) invites applications for a three-year postdoctoral position within a research program on loneliness.
The position will focus on interventions, including the synthesis of existing knowledge and the evaluation of interventions. In addition, the postdoctoral researcher will have teaching responsibilities in the newly established BA program in psychology.
The expected starting date is December 1, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Responsibilities and tasks
In this role, you will contribute to conducting a meta-analytic review and to the evaluation of interventions, working closely with the research team to advance knowledge on evidence-based solutions.
You will support the development of a research environment within community psychology and play an active role in disseminating research findings through scientific publications and public outreach.
Additionally, you will teach talented psychology students (BA program).
Your qualifications
· A PhD in psychology or a related field.
· Knowledge of loneliness research, preferably with a focus on interventions.
· Experience with literature reviews and quantitative methods.
· Ability to work independently, think analytically, and approach tasks systematically while maintaining a clear focus on objectives.
· Adaptability and ability to communicate in a constructive and respectful manner.
· Commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation.
