The Wind Energy System Division at DTU Wind is looking for a service employee with good English and IT skills to assist with a range of practical tasks that ensure we have an efficient and well-functioning workplace.

The job
You will be part of the administrative team at the Wind Energy System Division and assist us with various kinds of tasks for up to 10 hours per week. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Tidying up in common areas and light cleaning
  • Ensuring well-functioning kitchens including refilling with coffee, tea, and other necessities
  • Maintaining the printer room: Collect and refill paper in printers, remove paper and cardboard etc.
  • Arranging fruit and collect and distribute mail
  • Assisting with the preparation and setting up for meetings on the day
  • Setting up of IT equipment in the offices
  • Purchasing tasks in our Oracle system
  • Translating different types of documents, creating guidelines in Danish and English, update lists and file documents in our electronic archiving system DTU DOCX among many other tasks
  • Ad hoc tasks such as making name tags for conferences, print various materials etc.

Our expectations of you
We are looking for a service minded person who is comfortable with IT systems including good experience with the MS Office suite, and who communicates well in English, both written and spoken. We also expect you to assist during various events in the division, and weekend work can occur.

You need to be in good physical shape, as you will be walking a lot between different buildings to collect supplies for our kitchens and bringing boxes of paper to our copy rooms. The tasks also involve moving IT equipment from our basement storage to our offices.

You should be flexible, have a good sense of order, be detail-oriented, creative, and used to working independently. It is an advantage if you have experience from a similar job.

Salary and appointment terms
Salary and employment terms in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for service employees at a number of state institutions.

The position is part-time with up to 10 hours per week. The hours will be distributed over two working days per week, with one short and one long day. Your workplace will be at DTU Risø Campus near Roskilde. Starting date is 1 July 2025
