Part-time employee for support of transcription and analysis of qualitative interviews - DTU Management

We are looking for support for the transcription and coding of qualitative interviews on changes in mobility behaviour (partly in Danish, partly in English) in the URGENT project. You will be part of an ambitious international and interdisciplinary research team in the Human Behaviour Section of DTU Management’s Transportation Science Division.

Our expectations of you
You must have a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar. 

You are ideally characterised by: 

  • competences and experience with the conduction, coding and analysis of qualitative interviews (e.g. as part of your bachelor thesis or student projects)
  • expertise in the use of the software Atlas.ti
  • interest in transport and mobility research and research on life events and socialisation
  • Danish skills at the level of a native speaker 
  • strong English communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work both independently and as part of an international team
  • strong skills in the organisation of activities and willingness to support project management and administration tasks

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.

The position is a part-time position (15 hours/week) for a period of 7 months. Starting date is 1 June 2025 (or according to mutual agreement). 

The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
