We are looking for a structured and independent academic employee  to help us with downloading and checking primarily satellite data. 

The job
Your primary responsibilities will be: 

  • downloading of satellite data and checking the availability of wind speed and direction
  • Extract satellite data for specific locations on Earth
  • Download and store ground-based data to be used for validation purposes.

Our expectations of you
We are looking for a academic employee  who has an interest in satellite data and wind energy, and that has basic knowledge about computers and software. You must be able to work independently, be able to use English as a working language. You are in the process of achieving a relevant higher education at bachelor level or similar.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. 

Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexible. 

The employment is permanent  and starting date is July 1st, 2025. 

The workplace is DTU Risø Campus.
