Shark Gaming is the leading Scandinavian brand for high-performance gaming computers — built, tested, and delivered with precision and passion for gamers who demand more. With a growing presence across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, we’re on an exciting growth journey and are now looking for an Operational Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to strengthen our leadership team.
This is a hands-on, data-driven leadership role where you’ll take responsibility for the entire marketing function. You’ll lead a team of four talented specialists, drive performance across all channels, and own key metrics such as CAC and CLV. Together with the CTO, you’ll also lead the implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) — a cornerstone project in building Shark Gaming’s next-generation marketing foundation.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute the overall marketing and brand strategy across Nordic markets
· Lead and develop a 4-person marketing team (performance, CRM, SoMe, content)
· Take full ownership of Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
· Co-lead the implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) together with the CTO
· Define, validate, and operationalize buyer personas across markets using customer data and insights
· Own and optimize the full customer journey, ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences across all touchpoints
· Manage and optimize marketing budgets for maximum ROI and long-term growth
· Drive customer acquisition and retention through data-driven performance, CRM, and content marketing
· Strengthen brand awareness and preference through targeted storytelling and campaigns
· Collaborate closely with e-commerce, product, and operations teams to improve conversion and satisfaction
· Translate insights into action through continuous testing, measurement, and iteration

About You
You’re a commercially driven marketing leader who combines data, creativity, and structure to drive growth. You enjoy translating strategy into execution, leading small teams, and creating scalable marketing systems that put the customer at the center.
We imagine you have:
· 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally from e-commerce or consumer electronics
· Proven track record managing CAC, CLV, and marketing performance metrics
· Experience developing buyer personas and mapping full customer journeys
· Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with marketing data tools (GA4, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
· Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM (Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar)
· Experience implementing marketing technology platforms (CDP, automation, analytics)
· Understanding of conversion optimization and UX in e-commerce
· Experience leading small, agile marketing teams
· Fluent in English – knowledge of a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian) is a strong plus
