What do we offer?

CIS provides a welcoming and international work environment where language learning is valued. As a Mother Tongue Swedish Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting students in maintaining and developing their Swedish language skills in a meaningful and engaging way.

What is the job about?

• Teaching a small group of students in Swedish once per week.
• Lesson time: Wednesdays, from 15:00-16:00 and/or 16:00-17:00 (final schedule depends on student sign-up).
• Designing engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Supporting students in language acquisition and cultural understanding.

What do we expect from you?

• 1-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in language instruction.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• A collaborative and professional approach within a culturally diverse school community.
• Fluency in Swedish and proficiency in English.

Important information

• This is a temporary, hourly paid position.
• Applicants must already have a valid work and residence permit for Denmark.
• There is a possibility of extension for the next school year.
