Civilian Advisor (N) in Kenya, Peace and Stabilisation Programme for the Horn of Africa As Civilian Adviser based in Nairobi you will support the activities of Eastern Africa Standyby Force (EASF) under the Danish Peace and Stabilisation Programme for the Horn of Africa 2023-2026 (PSP HoA IV). The EASF is a regional integrated force designed to react swiftly to threatening situations towards peace and security within the Eastern African region and across the continent. You will work within a configuration, which entails military, police and civilian components, acting as technical advisor to the Director of EASF and as Coordinator of the International Advisory Coordination Staff (IACS). You will work closely with the Danish Mogadishu Representation Office based in Nairobi, responsible for managing the PSP HoA IV in order to ensure that the Danish support is properly managed and in line with the objectives of the PSP HoA IV.

You have a strong background from working in international and intercultural environments within an integrated approach. You have worked with governmental institutions as well as integrated mission planning, participated in international missions within multilateral agencies and have a substantive experience in teaching and pedagogical processes and procedures. You have experience with managing Danish development assistance. You hold a master level degree; you are fluent in English and Danish. Preferably also gained experience from the Horn of Africa.
